Some progress

So five days later the Sports Medicine nurse at Duke called me back and I got an appointment. I took him MRIs that I had and he did x-rays and said he thought I should see the hip doctor and get something done there and then he referred me to a foot doctor. Could not get an appointment until late July with the foot doctor. The sports medicine doctor agreed that my foot and hip issues are aggravating one another. He looked at both via ultrasound, but as I said, referred me to others.

Later that week, I went to my podiatrist who did the MRI and he said that I had torn peroneal tendons and marrow edema in the top of my foot. He suggested a PRP shot which I am going to try. I actually had made an appointment in Raleigh to see about those for my issues. I am going to talk to the hip doctor on the 22nd to find out his opinion on them. I think that he wants to do surgery on the hip to find out what is going on. It seems to be something irregular. In the meantime, I am moving with an ankle brace the podiatrist sold me.
